Thimbles protect cable from wear and help distribute the load over a wider area, increasing cable life. They are available from Sanlo in aircraft, standard, and heavy-duty types to fit wire rope and cable diameters from 1/16" through ¾". Standard copper stop sleeves are offered for cable diameters from 3/64" through 5/16". Stops are also available in aluminum and other alloys by special order.
